Combine ingredients from several recipes
Grocie is a free recipe and shopping list app for iPhone and Android. Browse public recipes, save them, and share a grocery list.
When you send more than one recipe to the shopping list, Grocie builds a single list instead of one list per recipe.
How matching items merge
- Ingredients with the same name and the same unit become one line. Two recipes that each need olive oil in tablespoons show one olive oil line.
- The department is not part of that match. The same item still merges if the department differs, and the list is then grouped by store department for the shop.
- A color dot on the line shows which recipe it came from.
- You can change the quantity for this trip without editing the recipe itself.
Shop the combined list with someone else
Invite another person onto the list. Checks update for both of you, and each checked item shows who picked it.
A list you already opened, and recipes you already opened, still open without a connection. Changes sync when you are back online.
